Characteristics:
A beautiful slender coral snake look alike but with a white or yellow nose. This burrower is adult at about 16”. The primary colors are wide off-white bands, each containing a red dorsal saddle, and wide black bands or rings that narrow laterally but often cross the belly. Otherwise the belly is white and concave. This is a species of the open desert sands. Oviparous. The hatchlings look much like the adults.
