Obviously, snakes do not have arms or legs. When threatened, some species of non-venomous snakes will go into a defensive posture that can cause their head to have a triangular appearance. However, there are many venomous snakes that do have a triangular shaped head. So, unless you are trained or you are absolutely certain of the identity of the snake, we advise that you stay clear and do not touch or pick up the snake.
